On May 19, 2025, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated a special milestone in their marriage: their seventh wedding anniversary. The Duchess of Sussex has had fans glued to her official Instagram since making her social media comeback earlier in the year. This time, she fascinated her three million followers and netizens worldwide when she shared a deeply personal tribute that offered fans a rare glimpse into her private life. Meghan, 43, posted a heartfelt montage on Instagram, featuring never-before-seen photographs that chronicle her journey with Harry, from their early courtship period to family life in California.
Set to the tune of “I‘m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers, the video collage showcased the Sussexes’ intimate moments, including snapshots from their first meeting in 2016, romantic getaways to Botswana and Norway, and candid scenes from their 2018 royal wedding. In nearly all of the pictures of Harry and Meghan, the two appeared inseparable, holding hands, touching and looking ever so in love. Pictured in a board-style format, the montage also featured adorable pictures of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, capturing the family’s evolution over the years.
A standout image from the collection was a 2022 Christmas photo depicting Archie gently kissing Lilibet’s forehead in front of a decorated tree, showing the adorable bond between their two little ones.
Meghan captioned the post:
“Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story – we appreciate you. Happy anniversary! ❤️”

Meghan’s photo montage for her and Prince Harry’s seventh wedding anniversary gave fans a glimpse into the home life of the Sussexes. The former actress-turned Duchess often made montages during her days as an actress and while running her lifestyle blog. Interestingly, despite their departure from royal duties in the United Kingdom and relocation to the United States amid a row with the royal family, Meghan included her royal coat of arms in the montage.
Other standout images in the montage included an ultrasound scan of Prince Archie and a baby picture of him. Meghan’s impressive calligraphy skills could also be seen on the board, with a handwritten note written in cursive. The note included lyrics to “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King, which was Harry and Meghan’s wedding song. In the seven years they have been married, the two have dealt with many adversities, but it’s good to see they have come out on the other side. Meghan added another note on the board that read “love wins,” two simple words encapsulating her marriage to Harry and everything they have overcome.
There was also another handwritten note on the image board, which grabbed attention. This one read, “our love story.” The words were fitting, as Harry and Meghan’s relationship has been one of the most popular love stories within the royal family and among public figures in general. Although the Sussexes are now based in Montecito, California, they still fascinate royal watchers everywhere. There is more to come from Harry and Meghan, and we can’t wait to see how their marriage and family evolve in the years to come!
