Princess Kate “exuded optimism” during her appearance at Wimbledon, according to a body language expert. The Princess of Wales attended the grand slam final on Sunday, July 13, alongside husband Prince William and her two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

After Jannik Sinner’s triumph in the Wimbledon 2025 final, sealing the historic day was the official award ceremony on Centre Court, where the Princess of Wales was all smiles as she presented the Italian tennis player with the golden trophy. Analysing her body language, which showed her shoulders “pulled back”, the celebrity psychic and body language expert, Inbaal Honigman, said: “The Princess of Wales exudes optimism as she attends Wimbledon.”

The body language expert also compared her mannerisms to previous engagements. She said: “In more vulnerable moments in the not too distant past, we saw Princess Catherine with her arms pulled closely and tightly to her body, feeling uncertain and worried, sometimes with her hands gathered protectively in front of her.”

She added: “Now, her arms are a little further apart, which is a more welcoming gesture, broad and open. This indicates security – the Princess feels safe and confident. This broad gesture, with her arms wider apart, reveals the Princess’s newfound optimism and confidence.”

When assessing if a smile is genuine, the body language expert explained the body language has to match the smile, and in Princess Kate’s circumstances, it was a “perfect match”.

She explained: “When all parts of her body indicate happiness, we know that the Princess is certainly happy. There’s no doubt that Catherine is feeling strong, positive and well in herself.”

The Princess of Wales, 43, and Charlotte subtly coordinated their outfits yesterday in complementary blue shades. Kate wore a royal blue dress echoing the navy piping detail on Princess Charlotte’s white dress and blue ribbon in her hair.

Prince William and Prince George also embraced the family’s colour theme, both sporting blue suit jackets and matching ties.

Princess Kate, who is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, and Prince William are regulars at the tennis tournament, and in recent years, they’ve started to introduce their children to the sporty staple of their summer calendar.
